• Rainfall is experienced over the past two days with a break in the weather over the past 12 hours. The high water level continues to prevail in the upper reaches of Mahaica and Mahaicony creeks and some inland locations.
• High waters are now receding.
• All drainage and irrigation structures are closely monitored.
• Works continue on the rehabilitation of Jimbo sluice and canal, EBD, Region No. 4
• Works continue on the re-activation of the Friendship sluice, EBD, Region No. 4

NDIA excavator is currently working in Land of Canaan and Eccles. One pump at Huntley is down for repairs which will be completed today. Stand By pump at Strath Avon is down for repairs. High waters are receding
5	Flooding continues in the upper reaches of Mahaica and Mahaicony Creeks. However flood waters are receding.	Report of high waters in Mahaica and Mahaicony and Abary creeks.	Ok.	- All Sluices/Pumps are operable. - NDIA excavators are currently working within the Mahaica/Mahaicony area. - The are high water level in the upper reaches of Mahaica and Mahaicony creeks.
6	No Reports of High Water.	Reports of High water level in channels No. 19 and the Cattle pasture beyond the Black Bush Polder crown dam.	Ok.	Cleaning of Hack’s canal and 52 main drains are near in completion. Bolam pump is down for repairs which are presently being undertaken. RDC to award contract for the construction of drainage structure at New Forest, Canjie
10	No report of flooding.	Report of High water level in the Kara Kara Creek.	Ok.	Maintenance works on the drainage system have been completed in 24 areas in the Region.

 

GEORGETOWN
-	No reports of flooding.	No Reports of high waters.	Ok.	-NDIA Mobile pumps at Kitty and Liliendaal are operable. - City Engineer’s department reported that a drainage pump at River view is presently being repaired.

 

GUYSUCO
-	No report of flooding	High water are in the areas of: Good Hope, Annandale and Mon Repos and Lusignan	Ok.	Sluice doors at Montrose and LBI are defective and operate at low tides. GUYSUCO is monitoring the operation of these Sluices. One unit of the two at Annandale drainage pump station is down for repairs which are presently undertaken.
