  • Rainfall is experienced over the past two days with a break in the weather over the past 12 hours. The high water level continues to prevail in the upper reaches of Mahaica and Mahaicony creeks and some inland locations.
  • High waters are now receding.
  • All drainage and irrigation structures are closely monitored.
  • Works continue on the rehabilitation of Jimbo sluice and canal, EBD, Region No. 4
  • Works continue on the re-activation of the Friendship sluice, EBD, Region No. 4

  • Sluice doors at Montrose and LBI are defective and operate at low tides. GUYSUCO is monitoring the operation of these Sluices.
